For all sticks, we recommend that the lower shaft of
the stick is taped with a quality cloth tape to protect
in the likelihood of a stick clash but also importantly
to help cushion the ball when trapping. Another option
is the application of a shaft guard to help prolong
the life of the stick and stick decals.
Do not dry your stick by artificial means. Leave to
dry at room temperature.
The nature of the game and playing surfaces means that
wear will occur. To increase the life of your stick
we recommend that a stick repair kit is utilized to
protect the base of the stick from wear on artificial
surfaces. With composite sticks it is important that
the differing layers or walls of the stick are not allowed
to wear through and be exposed if used on sand based
pitches. By applying the kit regularly the epoxy resin
mix acts a wear pad between the two surfaces. The repair
kit can also be used to repair chips to the shaft of
the stick.
